Was your New Year’s resolution to grow your own organic food or perhaps produce for your local community in the New Year? If so, make plans now to join Lynn Pugh along with other beginning farmers and gardeners for seven educational and enriching Saturdays at Cane Creek Farm – recent recipient of the Conservation Family Farm of the Year Award – in Forsyth County. The fundamentals of organic growing including: soils, plant biology, insect types, disease and weed management, composting, marketing and certification will be explained in a lively, interactive fashion.
