Price: Average and median sales prices continue to gain traction and outpace 2015’s figures, with positive gains. The median sales price in June was $253,000, an increase of 7.7% from last June. The average sales price was $311,000, up 3.3% from the previous year.
Supply: Atlanta area housing inventory totaled 16,304 units in June, a decrease of 2.3% from June 2015. New listings totaled 5,848, up 20.4% from June 2015 and up 7.7% from the previous month. The supply for sales over a 12 month period increased to 3.6 months.
