On August 24, 2009, a Temporary Collection Order was granted to Fulton County by the Superior Court to authorize the temporary collection of property taxes. The Tax Commissioner’s office is prepared to issue property tax bills as soon as the Tax Assessor’s office verifies all issues are resolved. Once the bills are issued, City of Atlanta property owners will have 45 days to pay their taxes; and Fulton County, City of Chattahoochee Hills, City of Johns Creek, City of Mountain Park, and City of Sandy Springs property owners will have 60 days to pay their property taxes.
