Green 2012–Calendars are popular gifts, and whether you buy them or create your own, why not mark all the special green days throughout the year? There are obvious ones like Earth Day, but lesser-known events also are worth commemorating too. They include Earth Hour (March 31st), Buy Nothing Day (it’s set for the day after Thanksgiving and is a protest against consumerism), and World Environment Day that lands on June 5 and aims to raise awareness of the environment around the globe.
