MEZCAL WEEK AT SUPERICA

  • WHAT: Ford Fry’s Superica is welcoming back it fifth annual “Mezcal Week,” and this year, guests can expect a selection of mezcal flights, special menu pairings and cocktails to celebrate the occasion, including:
    • Mezcal Margarita – Banhez mezcal, stirrings triple sec, fresh lime juice
    • Under The Volcano – mezcal, grapefruit, lime, Luxardo Maraschino, habañero tincture
    • The Tempest – tequila, mezcal, triple sec, fresh lime juice, agave nectar & housemade Cowboy Gringo hot sauce
    • The Highwayman  A mezcal old-fashioned with honey/agave syrup & Mexican mole bitters 
    • Mezcal Mule – Banhez mezcal, Lunazul reposado, lime, ginger beer, cucumber + Tajin
    • The Frida – Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Ancho Reyes, fresh lime juice + hibiscus syrup 

ATLANTA FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL

  • WHAT:  It’s time for the 13th annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival! All weekend long, taste and sip on the South’s best at the much-anticipated Tasting Tents presented by Goya Foods and intimate dinners, which will be hosted at some of the city’s most beloved spots, including: Chai Pani, The Americano, Atrium & more. IMAGES.

BOURBON & BBQ AT SOUTH CITY KITCHEN 

  • WHEN: Saturday, September 21, 6 pm
  • WHERE: South City Kitchen Vinings
  • WHAT: Enjoy the unveiling of South City Kitchen’s exclusive private barrel of WhistlePig 12-Year Rye, aged in a Silver Oak Cabernet barrel, as part of their “Whiskey & Vine” series (specially selected bourbon aged in wine barrels). Guests can expect a Southern-style pig-pickin’ and small bites crafted to pair perfectly with the special bourbon-tasting. Tickets will be available to purchase via OpenTable. THE BURGER BENEFIT

  • WHEN: Sunday, September 22, beginning at 11 am
  • WHERE: NFA Burger
  • WHAT: It’s time for the second annual The Burger Benefit, an all-day burger showdown among top chefs & burger aficionados from around the country, all in support of Giving Kitchen. Beginning at 11 a.m., up to four burger masters will command a grill for 90 minutes, preparing their signature recipes. Guests are invited to purchase tickets ($30 each, include 1 burger + side) HERE and select a time slot in advance.

RIOJA FEST AT THE IBERIAN PIG BUCKHEAD

  • WHEN: Sunday, September 22, 1-5 pm
  • WHERE: The Iberian Pig Buckhead
  • WHAT: Celebrate the annual Rioja wine harvest with The Iberian Pig! Guests can expect live entertainment and a photo booth alongside a selection of wine, cocktails, charcuterie, fan-favorite tapas and more honoring the season. BAR BLANC X MARCEL BURGER POP-UP

  • WHEN: Friday, September 27, 11:30 am-2 pm
  • WHERE: Bar Blanc
  • WHAT: To kick off weekend festivities, Bar Blanc will open early for lunch and feature Marcel’s Late-Night Burger for one day only. This double-stacked cheeseburger, topped with pickles and 50/50 sauce (a blend of whole grain mustard and Duke’s Mayo), was previously a late-night exclusive known for selling out rapidly and will be accompanied by crispy frites and classic vanilla or chocolate milkshakes – available with or without booze. IMAGE.
